God has created a delicate creature with strong feelings of passion and honesty and that creature is in the form of Girl. Girl is seen in different views in society i.e mother, daughter and sister. In short this creature is responsible for the growth of generation according to each and every aspect of life. Brigham Young says “You educate a man, You educate a man; you educate a man, When you educate a woman, You educate a generation”. So the education of a girl in our society and nation is much important than any other project or plan. The literacy rate regarding girls education is much poor than any other developed nation. There are some social barriers which do not allow a girl to take an active part in prosperity rather they become a victim of gender discrimination. It creates an inferiority complex when they are not treated equally and depression dominates in those minds which plans to make the nation foundations strong.
Education is not the heritage of a single gender. The most successful investment is in the education of girls which will provide you with a generation of leaders as a result. They have a potential in the raising the status of every field in the form of Fatima Ali Jinnah, Durdana Ansari, Parveen Shakir, Benazir Bhutto, Malala Yousafzai, Noor Jahan and many more. As a housewife, they prepare the generation to cope with challenges of their life and their nation. This is possible only if they are educated. When they will be educated the health of the coming generation would be much better than the past because education is itself an awareness. There should be strict policies in this matter as women and girls are not preferred by local persons and customs for education in tribal areas and far off villages of Sindh, KPK and Baluchistan and there poverty and illiteracy rate is at its peak. Different NGOs work for the awareness regarding the education of girls but the results are not satisfactory.
Women Education Importance And Challenges In Pakistan
Challenges & Importance:
Only 12 years investment on girls in the form of education can change our dark nights into bright days. It will build self-confidence in them and they will stand with men in every sought of difficulty. They have the same right to work as a parent, worker and as a citizen as the men enjoy. It is important to provide a safe environment for girls to get an education so that they feel ease and take an active part. When uneducated girls would be educated then our population explosion will decrease, they will not be diverted to any negative activity, and they will be a sign of respect in the community. In an average of sixty years of life, the 12 years of education will give them the opportunity to lead a life of 48 years with dignity and valour.
